Bored Games... get it?  heehee

SO, when you got a friend or two laying around, what kind of board games do you play?
Scrabble?
Monopoly?
Candyland? ... with the kids

Chess too!

I played quite a bit of Monopoly with my buddy and his girlfriend when I crashed at his place for weeks..
Except they would always team up and eliminate me!  Undecided.
THEY WOULDN"T TRADE ME PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE!!

Lots of Chess, but not lately... to much fun at Post Magnet.  Grin

I'll play Checkers with my Nephews when I babysit.
although they are into video games...

I'm a fan of scrabble, but no one seems to like it Sad
Monopoly is alright, but it frustrates me greatly. I always seem to get the orange streets... AND NO ONE LANDS ON THEM!
Otherwise it's connect four, or a card game of sorts.

We used to take two monopoly boards (they didn't seem to last very long in my house) and park them next to each other. The one (plus all the title deeds) was marked "1" and the other "2" - and then you moved in a figure 8 around the board! We photocopied reams of paper as currency, and each and every deal was negotiable, and the rules were pretty flexible as well. Corruption was rife! But it made for lotsa laughs, and lotsa fun!

Ixnay onay oardgamesbay. I fairly well don't get the attraction of whiling away time at these distractions. But hey, if it keeps folks off the streets I'm all for that. Cry
