I installed Windows XP on my Apple MacBookPro today. It is even faster than OS X!

I am using something called Parallells Desktop which lets me run Linux, Windows etc in their own virtual machine, but without any emulation at all. Since my Mac has an Intel processor Windows runs natively. The speed is insane!  Grin

How do you compare the speed of windows to the speed of OS X? I am interested in your scientiffic method...

PS its no vm, VM is Virtual Machine or general software that acts as generalised hardware that passes the hardware commands to your hardware after it translates them into your host OS calls i.e. emulation. Macs run OSes with no emulation passing commands straight to their kernel. And Apple didnt invent the concept, Linux folks did a couple of years back, its called Mac on Linux...
