I like to listen to podcasts on my way to and from work.
Here are my favorite:

Quilting Stash by Annie Smith
From our own correspondents by BBC (I recommend this to EVERYONE)
Kommisjonen, kanal 24 (this a norwegian humour show)
Alex Anderson Quilt Connection
New York Time - Times Talk (New York Time talks to interesting people in the arts)

I used to listen to a really good show from BBC, a mix of humour and guest. But the show has been cancelled. My recommendations can all be found at iTunes which I use.

Does anybody have and great tips for me or others?

I haven't really picked up on the podcasting thing yet. But it was cool to hear myself on a podcast when a radio show that I freelance for started podcasting. Cheesy

You can listen to a podcast on you computer, or on an Mp3-player - anykind of player I think.

Somebody ought to do a Hypopodcast!

That's a great idea. A hypocast. Wonder what it should be about. We'll have to ask over at Hypography.

Jay - you can use any MP3 player. I too thought that podcasts were for iPods but there's no connection between the two. In fact, you can use Winamp on your PC if you like.

Can you listen to it without knowing many names and basics? I'll check it out!

On second thought, you probably wouldn't like it.
I love it!
But its mostly Basketball, Football, and Baseball talk.
with interviews.

Its an entertaining show, and theres lots of funny social commentary. I'll look for a link...

Here: You can see the Podcast...

http://www.jimrome.com/home.html

but I don't think its your cup of tea.
Its also an aquired taste.
I am sure there are other things you would prefer to listen to.
For anyone interested... there it is!
