You can grow radishes in a shallow tray/box if you want to conserve valuable grow space ... FYI

I meant the trays should be outside. especially since radishes are below ground growers.
You can place the trays on a bad patch of grass, rock, or cement to add extra space...
It works pretty good.  you only need2-3 inches of tray..

I'm still working on an indoor lighting system. meaning = until I get the money  Cheesy

I'm envious of the way you use your space Rac; you always have everything so organized. I was thinking a big reflector on your house to bounce light into the shadow from that damn garage!  Angry

I have a timer & may use a twist-fluorescent on seedlings I start inside this year. What should I be planting outside already? Over.... Tongue

I get Heritage Variety seedlings/starts at Fred Meyers.
I dunno' about the seeds.
Definitely some cool varieties, but you have to wait until they get big enough for people to buy.. Usually around May.

Talk to someone you know who might happen to work at Fred Meyers  Wink

A significant amount of gardeneing took place at the Rac palace.

3 short rows each of carrots and onions in the dirt.

Germinating corn, basil, asian thai peppers, cannibis, and autumn beauty sunflowers, in trays on the deck.

Radish's in a deeper soil storage tray.
 Grin

Raked the yard and filled the debris bin.
Planted 3 flowers pots into the ground in the front.

Pulled buckets of weeds.

 Shocked
and now an Advil and a beer!!

You set a grudging pace there Rac.  Tongue My outdoor radishes sprouted, but with the cold and now maybe more snow in the morning, it's a crap shoot. Fortunately I let a couple radish plants go to seed last year & I got a grip of 'em.

My roomy Ruby got some medium round tomatoes grown in Mexico, and some started going bad so I snagged the seeds and got them in pots inside. Time will tell.

Gardeners do it dirty eh?  Roll Eyes Gotta go.  Smiley

maybe I should have waited until after this little cold spell....  Tongue

It was nice the other day, relatively speaking...
Its all up to the seeds to see what kind of mettle their made of!

snowing outside as we speak..
So much for March coming in like a lion and going out like a lamb.  Undecided

I said what the hell and planted a bunch of Indian corn. If it doesn't go because it's too early I'll plant again.  Tongue
I tried one corn seed in a pot to see if they were viable & it's up.  :DGot it & my tomatoe starts in a window and also additional light from a screw-in fluorescent.  Plants love love. Kiss

Put a couple cucumber seeds in the window too; nuttin' yet.  Cry
